Gallery 1.0.5 => 1.1.1 possible in one step?

Error description and message
Hi,
I was wondering is it possible to go directly from 1.0.5 directly to 1.1.1?
Does this require an upgrade to existing files or is removal of old files required followed by a full installation?

I did that just this weekend.
Download the 1.0.6 and update 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 according to the instructions in the /contrib folder (not much to do).
Then do the same thing from 1.0.6 to 1.1.1 as there are update instruction in the /contib folder for that.

And you're done.

You can not do that directly as the install/ only supports 1.0.6 and higher if i remember correctly
