[How to] install "last topic titles" mod?

This will be the first mod ever that I'll add to my phpbb3 forum. Till now I've not been using any phpbb3 mod. I don't know how to install it. I downloaded your mod and really want to get it installed. Can you please guide me on how to install this mod, this question sounds silly for expert people like you but it would really help me. Please reply.

open the install122.xml with your browser.
Just do what is said to do.

do you mean first i have to just copy all the files to my forum root directory and then open install_122.xml in web browser?

No, just open the install122.xml in your browser on your local pc (drag & drop).
Then you'll see the installation instructions.

Thanks. I got it now. It's easy. Just one more question. When it says:

browse to install_altt/install.php and run the installer

in this case first I have to upload all the edited files along with other files to the root directory of the forum and then I have to go to install_altt/install.php in web browser.

Here's another (probably stupid) question, but when I go to install_altt/install.php in web browser, all I get is html code...

What I am I doing wrong?
