Gallery install help

Error description and message
Hi all, I am hoping that someone could help me with the installation issue I am having when trying to install the Gallery, version 1.0.5.1 onto my board.

Everything went fine, all files were uploaded correctly and code was altered per the instructions. When I direct my browser to the install page, I get the main install over view page, I am able to click on install tab, but when I click proceed, the page returned in blank and nothing happens. I'm not sure if something is wrong with the install_install.php file or if there is something I am over looking.

To double check myself, I downloaded the gallery files again from a different source, double checked all my code and went though the edits all over again, one by one. I still am having the same issue, blank install page. I have tried this in both IE and Firefox.

For the current time, I have renamed the install directory on my server so I can have normal board operation. I did however notice that I now have a link in forum top bar menu for gallery, but clicking on it, results in a sql error page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's your php-version and which database are you using?

I am using phpbb 3.0.8, version 5.2.13. I just updated and was running flawlessly on multiple styles. My database is MySQLl(i)

I should also mention, I originally was getting the You must be a "Founder" of this board! error that I correct following the instructions on this site.

Here is the general error I am getting, I assume its because the lack of ability to install. I also just noticed that I could not view any posts on my boards, getting the same error when clicking on threads. I just reverted to my backs up for the time being.

OK, so far, in my experiance, Automod, and adding any mod does not work even tho it's said it did...where is my gallery that the install said worked????

been working on setting this board up and no mods worked unless I figured it out manually...an I am NOT a programmer

help, what am I doing wrong...

You need to run the install/ script aswell...

hmmm, what install script, did not see one, unless you mean to run the initial phpbb install script??

just append install/ to your board-url after you uploaded all files.
