Thanks. I finally got this to work. I had to manually change the version number in my gallery config table from 0.2.4 to 0.2.3 so the update would run. Since 0.2.4 wasn't a valid version number, the update would just sit there after clicking on the proceed button. I looked in the update file in the install directory and saw the case statement where it was looking for the current gallery version, of course, 0.2.4 wasn't a choice.

Anyway, we are now at 0.4.1. I'm going to leave it a couple days and then try 1.0.0. Then after a couple days on to 1.0.5!!

Thanks again for your responses.

Great news, Friday I updated from 0.4.1 to 1.0.0 and then onto 1.0.5. Couple glitches, but I worked through them. The site embroideryswaps.com is now running the latest version. :D

Thanks for everything, we love this mod. A donation through paypal was made.

I can't remember exactly, but it was many steps. Once you find the right old upgrade files (hopefully you can find one old enough), and you unzip them, look in the contrib folder. It will list all the upgrades you have to do, and yes, you have to do each one that is relevant - one at a time.

Now that I'm in charge of the gallery on our forum, I keep it up-to-date (we are on v1.1.3 now), it is much simpler that way for sure!!!

Good Luck.

Okay, thanks for your reply.
On the first page I haven a post with all the steps, and there are many
Keeping it up to date won't be the problem.
My problem is getting there

Since my post-with-the-steps (on that first page) you need to add a couple more, now.
The longer you wait, the more it will be :D

If you do one step at a time, the task may not look so immense.

FYI: I am still at 1.0.6, and am planning the next update (all the way to 1.1.4) for the upcoming weekend.
Get a good backup, and that it one step at a time.

Veel plezier!

Ever thought about this option?
(Artikel in Dutch language).
The tenor of the advice is to remove all the references out of the current files and to install the latest version after doing so.
Or do you think there's a snake under the grass''.

And by that you mean step by step (as writen in earlier posts) or by removing all the references etc. etc. as mentioned in the article.
As author of this mod, what do you think of the method as discribed in the Dutch article?
