Images not showing

little red x's where images should be.

Error description and message
When I upload any images I just get little red images. GD library is running, image upoad works normally in phpbb. I really cannot figure this out. I have tried refreshing the cache. The cache folder ad the medium folder are being populated. I have also turned of Hotlink Prevention. I really do not know what to try now I am going nuts. Can someone please help me?

Hi David,

I'm afraid that I don't have any advice regarding what might be causing your problems....

However, I wonder if you might want to consider trying to install Nick's Gallery MOD into
new & clean & unmodified phpBB forum, and then see if the problem continues?

I find all the file edits for Gallery to be fairly challenging. So my approach has been to create
a de-novo forum (latest version of phpBB, with no MODs, no custom styles, completely 'stock'),
and then modify that forum to install the Gallery MOD.

If all goes well, and you can upload and view images.... Then you would know that the problem
lies somewhere in your 'real' forums : in the file edits; in custom styles that you are using; in
the version of phpBB that you are using; etc.

Basically, I'm suggesting that you first do a "dry run" of the Gallery installation process,
and see if your problem continues. If it does, then this might make it easier to track down
the cause. Just a thought!
