How to upgrade from 1.2.4 to 1.2.9

I had version 1.2.4 installed on a phpBB 3.0.4 board without a hitch and then I upgraded the forum to 3.0.7-PL1. Now I want to upgrade this MOD to 1.2.9. To do so, do I have to apply each version change from 1.2.4 up to 1.2.9 (i.e. 1.2.4->1.2.5 then 1.2.5->1.2.6 so on and so forth) or can I simply use the instructions on the latest version?
