Gallery Feed vs Twitterfeed is updating every hour

Hi,

I added the gallery feed to my Twitter-feeds. But there is one problem, He's saying every hour that the last picture is new. Every hour the same tweet about the same picture. I don't have much knowledge about feeds... I'm wondering of you know what the problem can be?

Well, I don't know much about feeds, so I tried to almost copy the phpbb feed system.
I don't know why it does that, but i will try to have a look at it.

Is always set with the last image time, so I don't really know whats wrong.

You don't have an <id> or <guid> to distinct every <item>. For an Atom feed you should have <id>.

Services like TwitterFeed compare these IDs to detect new items.

I updated tot 1.1.3, But I having the same problem whit Twitterfeed... He still thinks the last image is new and he keeps updating. It's not a big problem, but would be happy if it works

There are two methods twitterfeed can use to determine if an item in a feed is new, and should be posted to twitter - by default this is done through the date/time that a blog post has been published, or (if you select the "Post new items based on ... GUID" option in the twitterfeed "advanced settings"), by a unique ID on each blog post. Which one you want to use depends a little on the type of RSS feed you have, but twitterfeed requires at least one of the two to be present in the feed - if neither are present, there is no way to tell if an item in a feed is new, and should be posted.

You need to manually switch the setting to GUID
