phpBB Gallery - Bug tracker

Multiple Upload Paths (fix completed in git)

My webhost enforces a limit of 1024 files per directory. in which case would it be possible for gallery to save into another folder other than /upload when it reaches a certain number of files in that directory?

If not, would it be possible to manually change the upload path to another directory when the original path is nearing 1024 file limit?

I can see how a single upload directory could be a problem for large boards as well as boards where members post a lot of pictures.

another possibility is maybe even having a separate upload directory per user but that might be a problem also if there are thousands of users on the board.

Thanks for the fix... before I try it out... if I have a folder that already exceeds the file limit, will this break up that folder? or does it only apply to new uploaded photos?

It creates a new folder when you upload the image that would go over the limit.

trying to get this to work on my board. do I just change the three files? or do I need to change root/install/install_update.php and run install as well?
